Shakespeare follow up
We have had Catherine in from the Wordsworth Trust to do some follow up work on our Shakespeare play. It was lovely to talk about how much we enjoyed the whole process.
Working with reception
Reception have been learning about coral reefs so year 5 have been down to answer some of their questions and tell them what we have learned about coral reefs.
Building structures
We have built our structures today based on Anderson and Morris on shelters
Library bus
Lots of fun on the library bus this morning choosing new books for our classroom.
Year 5/6 Rugby Tournament
Super teamwork from the Year 5 and 6 children at Craven Park today at the rugby tournament.
RE games
Year 5 created their own games to explain karma using the Hindu game of snakes and ladders.
Writing information leaflets
Year 5 have been learning all about coral reefs and the environmental issues they face this half term. We are working on our final piece this week and making leaflets about this topic.
Carpentry skills
Year 5 have been working on a woodwork project today, cutting dowels and making a structure.
