Year 6 had a fantastic time in York

Lovely end of Sats treat for our fantastic year 6 class! Well done everyone!

A break from all the hard work, we danced to the macarena for a while.  

Congratulations and well done to our girls' football team for playing so well in the awful weather tonight. Thank you to Mark Swainson the school coach and Mrs Thomas for giving up their time.

Well done to Year 5 and 6 who took part in a football tournament and got through to the semi finals.

Year 6 today enjoying their last Christmas party at Roose School. 

Year 6 had a lovely  time visiting Dove Cottage in Grasmere.  We had a tour around Willam Wordsworth's house and then decorated biscuits and made Christmas wreaths in the afternoon.  

Year 6 enjoyed learning about WW1 today and had great fun re-enacting life on the front line.  

Year 6 had a great time visiting Furness College to take part in the Big Bang exhibition today.   

Year 6 enjoyed themselves today taking part in our Fit Fencing workshop.
