We love our quiet critters. We have to work really quietly or they hide in their jar.
In Year 2 we have written the instructions for making a fruit cocktail. We used lots of imperative verbs like chop, wash, peel, mix and stir. Then we followed our instructions to make the fruit cocktail. It was delicious.
Year Two went to the Westmorland Show last week. We saw lots of pigs,sheep, goats and alpacas. We met lots of people who had grown vegetables and baked cakes. There were lots of display stands where we chatted to the police and rescue teams.
We had to work very hard in our Victorian Roose. Mrs Bell was very bossy.
We had a great time learning about Victorian children and their bossy teachers.
Year 2 have enjoyed a cricket workshop and learnt lots of new skills.
Some children from Year 2 visited Coniston Water and Cathedral Quarry. We had sunshine and showers but lots of fun.
We had a great time visiting the Dock Museum. Year 2 enjoyed looking at Sir James Ramsden's possessions and statue. We also looked at lots of huge ships.
