Class of 2023
We have had a brilliant time this morning making our own mini-beasts. We used play dough and lots of leaves, stones and twigs.
For our Design and Technology project, we have made delicious healthy smoothies. They were yummy!

We have been finding out about different types of vehicles. We designed cars for our topic on hot and cold places. - Jungle cars or Arctic cars. We painted them camouflage colours and talked about the features we would include to adapt the car for its environment.

We had so much fun during international week. We found out all about Italy and it was very interesting. We made Leaning Towers of Pisa, we made pizzas, had ice-creams, set up a cafe, designed pizzas, learnt new Italian words, copied Italian artists and much more!
In maths we have been finding out about partitioning tens and units numbers. We did this practically with cubes by choosing a number then building the number into sticks of ten and then the units.
Today is Nicola's birthday and her mum made the most delicious cake for us all to share! Thank you Nicola's mum
Reception, year 1 and year 2 really enjoyed their visit to Barrow Vue cinema to watch Paddington 2. They helped the staff practise having a fire drill then sat back and watched the film. All children were amazing durung the evacuation and made the staff very proud! Well done Roose
