We got our "doberries" set up today and used them to practise single digit addition facts.

Year 3 have been working hard with their Karate lessons and some have completed their grading for their first karate belt.  

Year 3 and 4 ran some laps to support Pat.

Year 2 and Year 6 had a lovely morning sharing stories and reading to each other.  We got to see each others costumes and enjoy a book and a biscuit.  The perfect way to share a story!

The whole school has been busy making Christmas Tree decorations. Reception made salt dough decorations that they painted and put glitter on.  From Year 1 to Year 6, everyone used felt and sowing, which got progressively more difficult through the year groups.  They used a running stitch in year…

Year 2 were all very excited when he told them they were all on his good list.  

Our wonderful choir sang at Furness General Hospital along wit ST George's Schools.  We had a wonderful time.  Thank you to The Rotary for inviting us and all the parents that joined.  A special thanks to The grinch who made a surprise appearance. 

Year 1 had an amazing trip to Greenland's Farm.  We saw lots of animals and had great fun playing in the soft play and barn.  What's more the rain stayed off and the sun came out! 

Year 1 had lots of fun learning to play quidditch today.  We had to pretend we were flying and score goals.  We really did feel like we were a school of 'Witchcraft and wizardry.' 

Year 1 have been planting sunflower seeds in science.  We have been talking about what a seed needs to grow into a flower.  We have planted the seeds so that we can keep a diary about what happens.
