Year 6 had a really fun session of Jiu jitsu today, a lovely break from all the hard work they are doing in class.  Everyone had a big smile on their face and enjoyed the challenge.  Phil and Phil put them through their paces and managed to get the best out of everyone.

After investigating levers, pulleys and gears, we made catapults and tested how to change the distance we could send objects across the room

We loved reading stories to nursery on Children in Need day.

Year 4 had a great time at our Christmas party

We have been exploring the book The Rabbits by John Marsden and Shaun Tan and using aboriginal art to show the changes which happened to Australia after the Europeans arrived. 

We have been exploring gravity and measuring mass and gravitational force using newton meters

Year 6 have started tennis sessions and are really having lots of fun.  The are picking up lots of new skills.
