As part of our coastal erosion topic for English, we have been exploring how headlands turn into caves, arches, stacks and stumps due to erosion.
Year 3 Christmas angels
Today year 3 made their Christmas angels ready to decorate the tree.

We have used the theme one kind word and we came up with lots of kind words for the people in our class.
Making river systems
Today we have been making different river systems. We made a tributary, a delta, a meander and a waterfall.
Investigating Pitch
We used boomwackers, glockenspiels and violins to investigate pitch. We discovered that the shorter the boomwacker (or note on the glockenspiel the higher the note. On the violins, the thinner the string the higher the note. Then we each made a set of panpipes using straws.
