We have had a brilliant day with Phil from Skillsshop www.skillsshop.co.uk taking on lots of challenges and thinking about the future.  

Year 1 used their senses to try food in science.

We have been exploring trench warfare as part of World War I week and used the fort and field to plan and carry out attack and defence. 

Year 6 enjoyed learning about WW1 today and had great fun re-enacting life on the front line.  

Year 1 followed instructions to make a picture of a rocket flying through the sky.

Year 1 have been learning about how we grow in science.  We looked at how small babies are.  We talked about how much we have grown.

We have had a brilliant time this morning making our own mini-beasts.  We used play dough and lots of leaves, stones and twigs.

Year 6 had a great time visiting Furness College to take part in the Big Bang exhibition today.
