Class of 2024

Year 2 were all very excited when he told them they were all on his good list.  

Year 1 had an amazing trip to Greenland's Farm.  We saw lots of animals and had great fun playing in the soft play and barn.  What's more the rain stayed off and the sun came out! 

Year 1 had a great time learning how to play cricket this morning.  We have some really good players in this class.

Year 1 have been having fun planning for their writing outside.

Year 1 had lots of fun learning to play quidditch today.  We had to pretend we were flying and score goals.  We really did feel like we were a school of 'Witchcraft and wizardry.' 

Year 1 have been planting sunflower seeds in science.  We have been talking about what a seed needs to grow into a flower.  We have planted the seeds so that we can keep a diary about what happens.

Year 1 used their fine motor skills and followed instructions in our dough disco today.  The used dough to make lots of shapes, worms, thumb pots, snakes, spheres, pan-cakes...  We had lots of fun.

Year 1 have been looking for wild flowers in science.  We found lots.  Can you find any out and about?

Year 1 made pan cakes today!  They really enjoyed them.

Year 4 shared reading with Year 1, they really enjoyed it.

Year 1 and Year 4 shared books for world book day.  We do love our shared reading.

Year 1 had lots of fun shared reading to Year 5.  We heard Year 5 read to us first and then we read to Year 5.  Thank you Year 5, we had lots of fun. #WorldBookWeek
