We had fun doing a quiz this afternoon

We have had a great time pond dipping today. There are lots of tadpoles in the pond, a frog invasion might be on the way!!!

We have been learning poems by James Berry and performing them together.

We have had a lot of fun celebrating World Book Day. Thank you for the fantastic outfits 

We have had a fantastic day at Ulverston Victoria High School. The children were brilliant and did lots of exciting things. Many thanks to Mr Butler and all the children and staff who helped us. It was lovely to see some familiar faces too. 

We have had a great time learning to programme robots with Fran from STEM

We had a wonderful poetry morning with Anna, the poet in residence from the Wordsworth Trust. We wrote some amazing poetry of our own.

We have been investigating friction using cars and ramps

The Eco Council had a great time at the composting workshop at Barrow Library today. We learned a lot about what we should and shouldn't compost and we would now like a wormery!

After investigating levers, pulleys and gears, we made catapults and tested how to change the distance we could send objects across the room
