Today we have been exploring and making an Anglo Saxon Village. 

Today we have been exploring the theories over time about the structure of our galaxy. We looked at geocentric and heliocentric theories and tried to create them. 

Some beautiful photos from our performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Blackwell, sent by some of the staff. 

Today we used the theory of Aristotle to prove the Earth is spherical. 

That was an amazing day! Well done year 5, very proud grown ups who watched your wonderful performance at Blackwell house. 

In RE we have been learning about different people and whether their achievements were choice, planned or pre-destined. Very interesting. 

We have been exploring Anglo Saxon artefacts today. It was very exciting.

Fabulous drama queens rehearsing A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We are really looking forward to performing next week. 

A brilliant afternoon at Furness Academy. Year 5 were amazing as always 

Year 5 and 6 gardeners had fun doing a litter pick around school grounds.

Tiny year 5 children at secondary school! We had a brilliant day at UVHS. Thank you to all the staff there and our wonderfully behaved children.
