Year 5 have begun the Spellbinding challenge and are enjoying lots of new books

A circus came to year 4 this morning. We had candy floss and popcorn and a magician called Abdul Kazam showed us some magic tricks.

Shakespeare follow up
We have had Catherine in from the Wordsworth Trust to do some follow up work on our Shakespeare play. It was lovely to talk about how much we enjoyed the whole process.
Library bus
Lots of fun on the library bus this morning choosing new books for our classroom.

Year 3 enjoyed writing in the style of Belie Doherty. They used adjectives, similes and repetition.
Writing information leaflets
Year 5 have been learning all about coral reefs and the environmental issues they face this half term. We are working on our final piece this week and making leaflets about this topic.

What an amazing day we have had. So very proud of year 5 and their incredible performance of As you like it at the jetty museum in Windemere. Absolute super stars
