Reception are already getting so good at getting changed for PE and are enjoying our PE lessons

Another fun afternoon of science investigating thermal insulators and conductors. 

Louise and Ros from the Lake District National Park working with United Utilities delivered a workshop about water. We learned about the natural and human water  cycles and that our water is from Haweswater reservoir. 

Celebrating international dot day by getting all creative. 

Our first lesson on subtractive drawing.

We did Rugby with Barrow Raiders this afternoon.

Today we began to create our own competitive games 

We created a role on wall for Hannah from Gorilla by Anthony Browne.

We are working on changing direction.

Debby came in today for our first violin lesson. We did some clapping rhythms. We learnt how to pick up our violins and we plucked the strings. We realised they all sound different.

We turned the classroom into a giant dictionary using words related to materials and their properties
