Year 1 and 2 had an awesome time in the woods at St. Paul's  school. We explored the woods through a non-nature trail. We made our own special sticks  and looked at spider's webs.

We had a wonderful day in Carlisle on Thursday exploring colour and sight at the Tullie House Museum and then on to Carlisle Cathederal. Please see the galleries for more photographs

We are learning about weddings in RE. Today we had a wedding of our own.

Music with Mr Hindle was great we liked all the songs because some of them are funny. Thanks Mr Hindle! 

Year 1 have  had a great morning looking for,and learning about living things from the woods. We went on an animal hunt and then made our own animals from clay and paint.

We wrote a simple story based on the proverb 'a house is not a home' and then up-levelled it to make it sound more interesting! It started like this:

A builder wanted to build. He got his tools. He started to build. He worked hard. He looked at the house. It was empty. He came back. A family…

In year 6 we have been drawing portraits of ourselves. we hung them up in the classroom so everyone can see them, when they come into the classroom.
