Great hats and Eggs, well done Nursery!

We have had such an exciting morning at Dowdales, we played some drama games, made and tasted fruit smoothies and learned some Japanese! What a lot to fit in

Year 4 visited St Paul's Church to take part in their Easter Experience. we learnt a lot about Easter and really enjoyed our visit.

Hooray! We love our reading igloo and our reading conservatory which is the rainforest on one side and an ice-land on the other. Thanks Mrs Waring and everyone who saved us milkbottles! Happy Easter!

We have spent a very exciting morning investigating friction by launching cars down ramps!

Year 4 performed their dance for everyone and told the story of Annie.

We have some future detectives in year 5 who had great fun solving crimes

We are having a lot of fun rehearsing Macbeth

We took part in a forensic science workshop where we had to find the evidence in a crime scene and work out who had stolen all the money!

We really enjoyed our Forensic Science Workshop with Chloe this morning. We found all the evidence, analysed fingerprints and solved the crime. We found out that identical twins have the same DNA.

Well done Year 4!

We had a fantastic day yesterday at Blackwell and Dove Cottage in Grasmere. We explored the arts and crafts house and today we began preparations for our Macbeth performance. It has been so exciting.
