We finished day 2 with a night of bowling. Well done everyone for fantastic teamwork!
York Day 2
We have had a great second day in York. After walking around the city walls, we visited the Jorvik Centre and then spent the afternoon learning all about chocolate.
STEM Team building activity
Year 6 used their STEM knowledge and team building skills to create the tallest and strongest free-standing tower.
Year 6 Homework
Well done Year 6 for your amazing Viking homework. I am so impressed with your longboats, board games, helmets, jewellery designs, art work and research. A fantastic effort everyone!
Year6 Treat Morning 2023
Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed their end- of-year treat to the cinema and McDonalds.
Year 6 Cycle Wise
Year 6 have been busy perfecting their cycling skills in the playground and learning how to ride safely on the road. Well done everybody!
Year 6 orienteering
Year 6 took part alongside 15 other local primary schools to compete in the orienteering competition at Barrow Park. They were all fantastic and participated brilliantly, despite the heavy rain. Well done to Sophie who came first place in her race.
Year 6 Junior Citizens
Year 6 spent the morning at Barrow Fire Station where they completed their Junior Citizen training. They learnt many valuable life skills including Fire and Water safety, understanding about anti- social behaviour and illegal substances, online safety and emergency first aid.
Reading with nursery
Year 6 spent Friday morning reading and sharing stories with our nursery children.
Year 6 Junior Citizens
