We spent time today with staff from The Wordsworth Trust, putting together our arts award and reflecting on our drama day yesterday 

We have started rehearsals. Thank you to Marion and Bernadette from Blackwell for a brilliant instruction in our play. 

We have had the most gorgeous day at Swarthmoor Hall. We explored the grounds, then the woods, braved the cows and had a tour of the hall. The children were fantastic and were praised by the people who looked after us at the Hall.  

We made a new recipe for slime this week. Lots more mess and fun.  

Thank you to author Kita Mitchell for coming in to see years 5 and 6 today and talk about her Grandma Dangerous books. We loved it and lots of the children got signed copies.  

We had a great time in Science Club, making goo, slime and a general mess! Thank you UVHS Sixth Form 

We had a great time this morning learning how to weave willow.  

We have had a brilliant day at Blackwell. We learned about the Arts and Crafts Movement, calligraphy writing and printing. The children loved it. 

Year  5 have had a brilliant day at Dowdales School. Thank you to all staff and pupils for making our day so successful 

We had a brilliant afternoon doing art workshops and improving our drawing techniques.

We have been learning all about gears, levers and pulleys. We are also making some controllable cars.
