This afternoon we have been exploring how life changed from the Mesolithic to the Neolithic by using stone age tools (rocks) to make flour from oats. We decided it was not always easier to be a farmer than a hunter gatherer! 

We have been learning and making numbers to 1,000,000

We all raised our hands and pledged to do what we can to stop bullying!

And the finished settlements. Who wouldn't want to move in!!

We have been building Neolithic settlements based on remains found at Skara Brae 

We began the day very zen with some breathing and meditation techniques. Ready to face the day!

Year 3 and 4 ran some laps to support Pat.

We enjoyed supporting Pat on his run this morning and went out to run our own laps in memory of Mrs Jacobs

We have been spraying ourselves today to make Stone Age cave paintings 

We have been looking at Stone Age art and creating stories using our own cave art inspired rocks. 

We have been learning about Roman Numerals today and solving missing number problems. 

A fantastic day with my new class. Lots of fun and dancing. Looking forward to a fun year together
