We have been investigating the colours and dyes used in skittles and used filter papers to separate them out. 

Reception enjoyed using their senses during a tasting session. The baby food had lots of funny reactions! 

Year 1 have been learning obout adjectives and how they make our writing really intresting .We found adjectives to describe the 2 witches in the Wizard of OZ.

We are writing our own poetry books!

We looked to see which liquid was the most dense. We then threw different things in to see where they sank to. 

Year 1 had lots of fun at an African dance workshop. We even learnt a dance to perform in assembly.

We had a fantastic time learning some African Dances this morning

Year 1 have been learning about length we measured items around the classroom and learnt about centimetres and metres.

Year 4 had a Karate lesson.

Year 6 went for a transistion day at Furness Academy we had lots of fun, we did some great lessons.Thanks Furness Academy.

Year 1 have been playing old fashoned games in PE part of our history we had lots of fun and a hop skotch competition.
