Year 5 are spending the day with Dean and Steve from Junior Whistlers. We are learning about team building and fair play.
Beer goggles!
We tried out "beer goggles" to see how we would feel after too much alcohol. We found it very difficult to walk in a straight line!
CADAS
Chris from CADAS (Cumbria alcohol and drugs advisory service) visited us today to talk year 5.
Book hospital!
Some of year 5 gave up their lunchtime to set up a book hospital. Mrs Johnson asked them to search the shelves for ripped books and they spent a whole lunchtime repairing them. They even designed a new front cover for one!

Year 5 do Opera!
Year 5 are working with Ian Honeyman, (a well known classical singer) and his wife Sophie to perform a short music theatre piece. Performances will be in November. Watch this space for more details....
