Class of 2020

Well done to the Year 5/6 football team who took part in a tournament last night and got through to the semi finals.

Year 5 had a brilliant day at Ulverston Victoria on Tuesday. They were brilliantly behaved and took part in lots of fun activities. Many thanks to Mr Butler and all the staff and children at UVHS for looking after us. 

We had a lovely morning reading with year 1 

We have been investigating friction by sending cars down ramps with different surfaces. 

We had a little visitor today. Mrs Wright's new puppy Gus came in to see us. He is gorgeous and we want him as a class pet!

We have been converting mixed numbers into improper fractions 

We had a great morning at the Risedale Gospel Hall looking at the Bible exhibit and learning all about the Bible. 

It doesn't snow often, so we went out and made the most of it with a class snowball fight  

It was such a cold day we decided to see if we could freeze bubbles and spent a lovely time blowing bubbles and watching them change from liquid to solid. 

Thank you Furness Academy for a brilliant sports morning. We did icircuit training,  trampolining and a science investigation about urine! We had lots of fun 

We have been using drama to predict what will happen to Jim Hawkins now he has got on board the Hispanola!
