Rotakids
Year 5 have made lots of cards to give to patients who might be in hospital over the Christmas period. We are working with the Rotary Club and are trying to think of as many projects as we can to try and make a difference to the lives of others.
Christmas Cards
We have been making Christmas Cards to take to FGH for those who are in hospital over Christmas.
3D modelling
We have been 3D modelling on the computers, designing vehicles then printing them out and making them.
New compost bin
Our new compost bin arrived today....big enough for children if we need it!

Year 5 have been practising their paper skills and done some origami with Mrs Treadwell

River Systems
We have had a great afternoon making different river systems. We made waterfalls, meanders and tributaries.
Separating materials
We have been investigating how to separate materials using sieves and filters
Discussing Poverty
We have been discussing global poverty and looking at the difference between our wants and our needs.
Sea defences
We have been investigating sea defences and built sea walls to try and hold back the tide.
