We have been exploring the book The Rabbits by John Marsden and Shaun Tan and using aboriginal art to show the changes which happened to Australia after the Europeans arrived. 

We have been exploring gravity and measuring mass and gravitational force using newton meters

We have been investigating magnetic force today and invented many weird and wonderful things. 

The whole school has been busy making Christmas Tree decorations. Reception made salt dough decorations that they painted and put glitter on.  From Year 1 to Year 6, everyone used felt and sowing, which got progressively more difficult through the year groups.  They used a running stitch in year…

Our wonderful choir sang at Furness General Hospital along wit ST George's Schools.  We had a wonderful time.  Thank you to The Rotary for inviting us and all the parents that joined.  A special thanks to The grinch who made a surprise appearance.

We had a fantastic day at the Millom Discovery Centre. Finding out about mining, local history and a lot of dressing up!
