We have been working out how Wallace and Gromitt's Cracking Contraptions work to write explanation texts

Years 4 and 5 had a fantastic morning at Dowdales listening to the Fitzroy String Quartet

We added percussion instruments to Lean on Me by Bill Withers

We did lots of activities to help us to tell the time and to convert from analogue to digital  

We have had a lovely first week back so far and have been learning how to meditate and de-stress!

We had a fantastic day with Phil from Barrow Jui jitsu learning all about the history of the Samurai and their weapons. We also learned to count in Japanese and found out about the geography of Japan.

We had a fascinating trip around the Dock Museum finding out all about Barrow before the start of World War I  

We have been investigating changes in states of matter and having fun with ice cubes! 

We have been exloring tones of green by looking at the work of Monet, exploring outside and then using leaves and natural greens to mis our own colours.  

We have been exploring number lines with fractions and been finding equivalent.
