Year 1 sprang into spring this week! 🌷🐣🐑
Over the past three weeks, we patiently waited for our chicks to hatch, eagerly watching the incubator each day. We were so excited when three chicks finally arrived! We loved having them in our classroom, helping to look after them and choosing names for them.
We were also lucky enough to enjoy a special visit from three adorable lambs- Marshmallow, Hope, and Billy (the lamb we had the pleasure of naming!). Everyone had a turn feeding the lambs their morning bottle and giving them lots of love and attention.
When it was time to say goodbye, Marshmallow had everyone laughing as she led the farmers, Miss Boothroyd, Miss Campbell, and Mrs Robinson on a chase around the playground before we could get her into the car!
What a brilliant way to end our science topic on animals! 🌟🐑🐣
