Tree Planting YR1
This week we started our tree planting workshops with Heather Pennick as part of the Art Gene programme running. We planted 2 apple trees and 11 cherry trees in our school field. It will take approximately 3 years before fruit will begin to grow! The children thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of tree planting followed by a dig where we found a lots of bugs and grubs!
