Year 3 have absolutely loved learning about rocks this half term in science! ✨

Over the past two weeks, our focus has been on fossils. Last week, we got hands-on and created our very own fossils using flour, water, salt, and coffee granules. We used shells to make detailed imprints, just like real fossils!

Today, we stepped into the shoes of palaeontologists for the afternoon. Using the fossils we made, everyone was excited to explore how fossils are formed and discover how palaeontologists carefully uncover these rare and fascinating finds. What a brilliant way to bring our learning to life!

Well done Year 3!
