The School Council went to the town hall to see how Barrow Council conduct their meetings. We were shown around the town hall and saw lots of historical artifacts.

We had a debate with the motion Barrow should demolish the football ground to build a concert hall where One Direction could perform.

There were strong arguments from both sides. The vote ended in a draw and we were shown how the Mayor holds the deciding vote. He voted to keep the football ground - winnng the vote for the boys.
