Today we had a fantastic educational visit to Furness Abbey — such a wonderful historical treasure right on our doorstep!
The children learned so much from the brilliant English Heritage staff, and we would like to give a huge shout out to Gill, Ron and Sophie for making the experience so engaging, interactive and fun. The children had an amazing time exploring the abbey and discovering its fascinating history.
To top it all off, our walk back along the Red River gave us an added bonus, as the children enjoyed learning even more about nature, habitats and the local environment.
A truly memorable day full of learning, exploration and fun!
