Year 1 have been planting sunflower seeds in science. We have been talking about what a seed needs to grow into a flower. We have planted the seeds so that we can keep a diary about what happens.
Year 1 used their fine motor skills and followed instructions in our dough disco today. The used dough to make lots of shapes, worms, thumb pots, snakes, spheres, pan-cakes... We had lots of fun.

Year 1 went to see the piglet that Mrs Biddle kindly brought in. He was so cute. We asked lots of questions and even heard him make his baby pig noises.
